This place was awesome. The owner came & talked with us (very kind), the waitress was great, the food was great & the prices were very reasonable. Awesome experience!

Had to stop in for chargrilled oysters to appease my hubby. Damn good stuff. Thursday cabbage special with a giant piece of catfish! Yummy!! The hurricane was strong ???????? & the gumbo was delicious!

Great food and service, both restaurants were full, and we were seated right away. All of our meals and drinks were good. I will return, and bring more people.The game was, every table and every seat at the bar was full. Definitely not a place for a nice quiet dinner, just to give you a heads up.

The server (Jay) was really kind and was able to answer our many questions. The rum punch was outstanding. Food was on point. We will return tomorrow, no more French Quarter meals.

Everything is delicious. Omg the best charred grilled oysters in NOLA, we ordered 4 servings. The drinks are strong and delicious. The fish is fried perfectly and the carrot soufflé is perfection. I definitely recommend!! You will need a nap afterwards lol

I was visiting New Orleans for Essence 2024 and stayed an extra day to experience New Orleans outside of Essence and I'm so glad I did. The food did not disappoint and the service was AMAZING! Von was the first to greet me and she was lovely and welcoming! I sat at the bar where Jay (the bartender) guided me through new eats, drinks, and great conversation. The food was fantastic but the star of the show were the chargrilled oysters! The french bread was the best way to sop up all of the divine flavor the oysters left behind! No notes! The service was also the star of my exp. Jay (the bartender) was kind and patient. Even though I'm an outsider to the New Orleans culture, he made me feel at home! The ambiance of this place is one of the many reasons I will be back again! Shout-out to all the folks at Neyow's making great food and a great atmosphere!

We came here at the recommendation of a local and because of the great reviews. We made reservations for dinner so there wasn't a wait when we arrived. I thought it would be a fancier because of all the hype, but the atmosphere is pretty casual. More like a sport bar restaurant vibe. It's a popular spot in town that lives up to its reputation for delivering authentic Southern fare. Service was good and the food is solid - everything was well seasoned and freshly prepared. We had the fried chicken, red beans and rice, fish strips, and bread pudding to finish off the meal. While everything was good and we enjoyed our meal, there wasn't anything in particular that stood out above the abundance of great food in New Orleans. Street parking was easy which is always a plus in busy areas. Overall it was a satisfying meal. We would definitely return and recommend Neyow's for its quality Southern comfort food and laid back atmosphere.

We were in town for Essence and a girlfriend had been trying to secure a reservation at Neyows but was unsuccessful so we decided to try to being walk-ins. The wait was not as long as we anticipated (just an hour) and it was wellll worth it! Long story short here, THE FOOD IS SLAMMING!!! The broiled crab claws were our favorite and the sauce they are taking a swim in needs to be sold by the pound because we literally asked for anything they had to sop it up with so we could devour it lol. The charbroiled oysters were a close second followed by the gumbo and the Bow Wow cocktail is a must drink because it will get you right! Service is great as the entire staff was hustling (& eyes candy for everyone) and remained friendly and accommodating regardless of how busy or crazy it got in the restaurant (& it was nonstop action). We will be adding Neyows to our ever growing must visit when in NOLA list and can't wait to visit them again.

Of course I forgot to take a picture before I started eating. Let's start with the bar. My lemon drop was AMAZING. The staff were able to seat our party of 25 within 30 mins. We were in a section by ourself. The waitress was able to handle everyone's order and needs efficiently and effectively. Hats off to her. My food was good nothing extravagant. The restaurant was a decent size with outside seating.

I didn't take a pic of my food because I just dug into it and it was so good and seasoned. Did not need a to go box. But I did get a pic of this huge drink! Couldn't finish it. Our waiter was super funny and attentive. He gave us some good recommendations.
